“The hotel accommodation seems to be spread across 3 sites which was a bit confusing. I was part of a group of 13 and we were in different buildings. However I loved my room. It was a spacious double. Very clean and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. There didn’t seem to be any soundproofing though which made nights quite noisy. Take earplugs.”

“Can't fault the hotel at all, in prime location, staff fantastic, breakfast amazing, booked 3 dbl rooms, requested through Expedia if I could have a quiet room, as undergoing treatment and was going to recuperate on this beautiful island, got back to me, to late to cancel, and book elsewhere, basically saying couldn't contact said hotel?? Strange one that, was put in three adjacent rooms, directly at the side of wether spoons, the noise on all nights untill 3 in the morning was absolutely...

“Beautiful grounds , lovely setting , little bit out of Douglas but everything was easily accessible , you do need a car! Staff are super and the hotel is sparkling clean . Food in the Bar/Lounge was first class ( not cheap ) service was very good . Brilliant Breakfast Buffet …nice views from the table . Would highly recommend this hotel .”

“We had a side sea view room, clean and well maintained. Great room. Breakfasts good with top class ingredients. We ate once for the evening meal. The food was pricey and quality was poor. Overall a really good hotel with great staff and exceptionally clean.”

“I honestly cannot rate this hotel high enough, the rooms were absolutely spotless, the breakfasts were amazing and the staff. Well every single member of staff were pleasant, polite, courteous and helpful. The aircon was heaven sent in the heatwave, I had amazing sleep every night yet my brother in law in a budget hotel was tormented with heat. I will without a doubt stay there again and wont even contemplate looking at other hotels.”

“I just very recently came back (July 2026) from almost a week on the Isle of Man and stayed at the Devonian the whole time. I can highly recommend it for the breakfasts, the lovely and responsive staff, the central location, and the spotless rooms. For being a three-star hotel, I felt the value was among the best I've ever experienced traveling. To expand, the staff at the Devonian are obviously invested in giving their guests an enjoyable stay. the breakfasts are delicious and the clear equal...
